It's hard to describe because it's different for everyone. But that sense of hopelessness and despair is common to all forms of depression.
Feeling Like You're Not Worth Anything
It feels like you're not worth anything. That's how it feels when depression takes over. You start to question everything, even your existence. You feel like you're a burden to everyone around you, and that you would be better off just disappearing.
It's a horrible, paralyzing feeling. You feel trapped in your head, and there's nothing you can do to escape. The darkness seems to be swallowing you whole, and you can't see any way out. All you want is for the pain to stop, but it doesn't seem like that's going to happen anytime soon.
